Perkins | Ogden Architects mission is to make buildings which enrich the lives of people who use them, which respect the practical considerations of those who fund and manage them and which are sensitive to the issues of ecology and sustainability.  The directors of the practice have an active role in each project, working closely with the client and project team.  We place great emphasis on teamwork, aiming to motivate the client, key stakeholders, design team and constructors with our energy and enthusiasm.   The definition of good design is an emotive issue.  Establishing a robust and comprehensive brief, having an intuitive appreciation of context and opportunity, a passion for the technology of building and a rigorous understanding of the processes and risks involved are key to the design and management of successful projects.  These are the areas in which we strive for continual improvement.
